Vera Level Apps Inc. ("Breather," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Breather mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App").

1. Information We Collect

Breather is designed to collect only the information needed to provide its financial-planning features.

a. Information You Provide

You may enter information into the App, including:

• Financial assumptions and manually entered asset, debt, income, and expense information
• Lifestyle preferences, city choices, and planning assumptions
• Optional names or labels for plans and scenarios

This information is stored locally on your device and is used to provide the App's calculations, projections, and planning features.

b. Financial Account Data via Plaid

If you choose to connect a bank or investment account, Breather uses Plaid, a third-party financial data provider, to retrieve account balance information in read-only mode.

Breather uses this information to calculate and display your net worth, debt, and financial projections.

When you connect an account:

• Your bank login credentials are entered directly into Plaid's secure interface. Breather does not see or store your bank login credentials.
• Breather stores the financial institution name, a Plaid access token, and the most recently retrieved account balance on its secure backend infrastructure.
• This stored information is used to support connected-account functionality, balance refreshes, and Breather's financial-planning features.
• Breather does not store transaction history, bank login credentials, or account numbers.
• Connecting an account is optional. You can use Breather with manually entered values at any time.

c. Information We Do Not Collect

Breather does not:

• Create user accounts or collect government identification
• Access or store your bank login credentials
• Store transaction history or account numbers
• Track your precise location
• Sell or share personal information for advertising purposes

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information only to:

• Provide net-worth, debt, and financial-planning calculations
• Display financial projections, estimates, comparisons, and lifestyle simulations
• Refresh balances for accounts you choose to connect through Plaid
• Maintain and improve the App's functionality, calculations, and user experience
• Diagnose crashes, errors, and technical issues
• Respond to deletion requests or support inquiries

3. Data Storage and Retention

Financial-planning inputs, preferences, and projections you enter manually are stored locally on your device.

For accounts connected through Plaid, Breather stores the financial institution name, Plaid access token, and most recently retrieved account balance on secure backend infrastructure provided by Supabase. This information is used only for connected-account functionality and Breather's financial-planning features.

We do not store bank login credentials, account numbers, or transaction history.

Plaid access tokens and associated connected-account data for accounts that have been inactive for 12 months may be deleted. We may retain information where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain security.

4. Analytics and Diagnostics

Breather may use analytics and diagnostic tools to understand:

• App usage patterns
• Feature performance
• Crashes, errors, and technical issues

These tools are used to improve the App. We do not use your connected-account information for advertising.

5. Third-Party Services

Breather relies on the following third-party services:

• Plaid Inc. — provides optional, read-only financial account connectivity. Plaid's handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Supabase Inc. — provides backend infrastructure used to store connected-account data described in this policy.
• Apple Inc. and Google LLC — provide app distribution, in-app purchase processing, and platform-related services.

These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to Breather.

6. Your Choices and Data Deletion

You may use Breather without connecting financial accounts by entering values manually.

You may remove a linked account within the App. Removing or disconnecting an account does not necessarily delete previously stored connected-account information from our backend.

To request deletion of connected-account information or other server-side data held by Breather, email support@veralevel.app. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any information we are required or permitted to retain by law.

Deleting the App removes locally stored app data from your device. Deleting the App does not by itself delete any connected-account information stored on our backend.

7. Children's Privacy

Breather is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information under our control, including restricted access to backend systems and encrypted storage where supported by our service providers.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
